Welding Engineering Technology Program (WDET) <\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n

Department of Welding Engineering Technology was formerly the Division of Welding Technology and successfully established as the Department of Welding Engineering Technology on 11 January 2006<\/span>
\n<\/span>The department presently offers three educational programs as follows.
\n<\/span> (1).Bachelor of Industrial Technology (B.Ind.Tech) in Welding Technology (WDT): 2-3 years
\n<\/span> (2).Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Welding Engineering Technology (WDET): 4 years
\n<\/span> (3).Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) in Welding Engineering Technology (MWET): 2 years
\n<\/span> The education of the department focuses on strengthening capacities in the welding process, welding technology, tools, welding testing, and quality control along with the moral. The department has four undergraduate classes per year and 30 students per class with continuous improvement in teaching and learning process. <\/span>At present (2023), the department has taught in two sessions of Bachelor of Engineering Program in Welding Engineering Technology (regular and evening), two sessions of Bachelor of Industrial Technology (regular and special) and one special session of Master of Engineering in Welding Engineering Technolog<\/span>y.<\/span><\/p>\n
