Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Technology
The aviation or aircraft industry is growing quickly in these days because of Thailand’s tourism industry is growing, which is one of the nation’s key sources of income. The government aims to use Suvarnabhumi International Airport to make Thailand a major hub for Asian aviation in order to improve interactions with other countries in terms of trade and transportation. Currently, it will be able to accommodate up to 100 million passengers per year. Mapping out the strategic goals for the years 2006 to 2008 with the goal of achieving a 1 out of 10 in the airports with the biggest passenger volume around the world. Another thing, U-Tapao Airport and Eastern Aviation City will be built as part of Special Development Zone of Eastern (Eastern Economic Corridor’s, EEC) that aims to establish the eastern region as the transportation center to encourage this region’s economic growth. This will expand the number of aviation-related sectors in the country, as well as the need for ground staffs and other associated workers.
This curriculum is in line with the 20-year National Strategy (2017-2036) and the National Economic and Social Development Plan No.12 (2017-2021). It is concentrating on developing professional personnel in aircraft maintenance who meet international standards and are capable of conducting research and using knowledge in particular engineering disciplines, the Bachelor of Engineering Program in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Technology is then be a type of cooperative education course that places a focus on theoretical studies and application of science in engineering and technology. In order to teach the graduates to develop long-sighted, moral, and ethical perspectives, simultaneously bringing academic knowledge and special skills to the world via the innovation.
