Bachelor of Engineering Program in Civil Engineering and Technology
Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering or also known as CvET (Civil and Environmental Engineering Technology) is part of the College of Industrial Technology of King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok. Our department provide programs for undergraduate and graduate levels included
1) Bachelor of Engineering Program in Civil Engineering and Technology
2) Master of Engineering Program in Construction Engineering and Technology
3) Master of Engineering Program in Urban and Environmental Engineering Management
4) Doctoral of Engineering Program in Construction Engineering and Technology.
We focus on teaching and learning in the fields of civil engineering, construction technology, environmental engineering and urban environmental technology and management. The programs focus on both academic combine with practical approach. The bachelor program includes cooperative education which is one semester on-the-job training period with private or public sectors in Thailand to improve students’ knowledge, practical competencies, and working opportunities in Thailand. The master and doctoral graduate degrees provide many fields of research by professional professors from structural engineering, soil mechanics engineering, construction engineering, and environmental engineering.

ELO 1 (S) : be able to apply knowledge of mathematics, science, basic engineering and specific engineering to identify engineering model framework and apply to practical, suitable and effective civil engineering work.
ELO 2 (S) : be able to identify problem, set relative equation, search data, and solve complex engineering problem to get basic answer using principle, mathematics, sciences, and engineering tools correctly.
ELO 3 (S): be able to solve complex engineering problem and design some engineering system e.g. structural, material, soil mechanics, and hydraulics. To work under requirements and regulations considering engineering standard and social regulations, safety and environment.
ELO 4 (S): be able to review, analyze, evaluate complex engineering problem and solution including set hypothesis, design research, analyze, interpret data, synthesis data to get reasonable and correct engineering solution.
ELO 5 (G) : be able to build, select and apply engineering techniques, resources, equipment and information technologies concerning criteria and limitations of them.
ELO 6 (G) : be able to work effectively with multidisciplinary people. Be able to work as team member and leader. Be able to work in real professional situation with construction and related organization.
ELO 7 (G) : be able to communicate effectively in civil engineering and other fields. Be able to use effective verbal communication, report writing, technical term using, presenting, civil engineering drawing, making and receiving order.
ELO 8 (G/S) : be able to understand and responsible to engineering professional concerning social and environmental context. Be able to evaluate consequence of engineering solution to social, environment and sustainable development.
ELO 9 (G/S) : be able to understand civil engineering ethics and working under civil engineering professional framework.
ELO 10 (G/S) : be able to understand economic knowledge, investment, construction management, and construction project management concerning risk and change.
ELO 11 (G/S) : be aware of importance of continuous learning. Be able to develop and adapt to be suit with technological and social change.
- Student must earn a high school diploma (Mattayom 6) in Science-Mathematics and technology with the regulations of the Ministry of Education (Thailand) which have at least 30 credits of Science-Mathematics and technology subjects.
OR
- Student must earn a vocational certificate in Civil/Construction or related field under the regulations of the Ministry of Education (Thailand) or overseas.
