Master of Science Program in Innovation Management for Business and Industry (Interdisciplinary)

The Department of Social and Applied Science, College of Industrial Technology is divided into 4 disciplines including Mathematics, Science, Social and Business Studies, and Languages. The Department provides basic subjects for vocational certificate students at The Thai-German Pre-engineering School; offers pre-requisites for engineering curriculums (mathematics, physics and chemistry studies) for College of Industrial Technology’s undergraduate students pursuing specialized engineering technology programs; and is in charge of general education courses required by the University.
The Department of Social and Applied Science also offers a Master’s degree programs, specifically the Master of Science Program in Innovation Management for Business and Industry (Interdisciplinary), also known as MIMB (Master of Science Program in Innovation Management for Business and Industry). In accordance with the curriculum framework and the expected learning outcomes, desired characteristics of graduates who enrolled in the program cover these attributes: ability to work and develop knowledge concerning innovation management in both industry and business contexts; effective application of knowledge acquired from classroom-based and research-based practices for innovation development; effective innovation management for commercialization; and becoming graduates with ethical qualities and leadership traits.
The curriculum framework lays a strong theoretical foundation to accelerate learning and empowers students through research activities and study trips to companies with outstanding innovations. In so doing, knowledge and skills acquired can be transformed for practical application; learners are well-prepared to become capable developers who address user needs with appropriate innovative solutions.

  • Graduated with Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.), Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.), Bachelor of Industrial Science (B.Eng.), Bachelor of Industrial Education (B.Eng.), Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) or other degree names and other equivalent disciplines in science and technology upon the approval of the Program Committees.
  • Those who wish to apply for Plan B must have at least one year of work experience.
  • Other qualifications must be complied with Graduate Study Regulations of King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok (2017) and its amendments.
  • Those who are not eligible would be under consideration of the curriculum lecturers.
