CIT-KMUTNB Hosts “CIT: Project & CWIE Day 2024” for Thesis and Cooperative Education Competitions

On February 16-17, 2024, Asso. Prof. Dr. Chetthawut Phumipipatpong, Associate Dean for Research and Innovation Promotion at the College of Industrial Technology (CIT), King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB), opened the “CIT: Project & CWIE Day 2024.” This annual event featured student competitions in project proposal presentations and cooperative and work-integrated education (CWIE) achievements.

Distinguished judges included Ms. Piyawan Tangbundit from Tronics Serif Co., Ltd., and faculty members such as Mr. Sarunyu Satchapoj, Assistant Professor Dr. Pitinatt Treewong, Asst. Prof. Dr. Paleerat Wongjumpha, and Mr. Songkran Bangsarantip.

The competition had two main categories:

  1. Project Proposal Presentation – with 8 groups participating.
  2. Cooperative Education Project – with 5 groups participating.

Awards were presented by Associate Professor Dr. Samit Songpiriyakit, Dean of CIT, with the following recognitions:

  • Project Proposal Presentation: 5 first-place awards and 3 honorable mentions.
  • Cooperative Education Project: 3 outstanding awards and 2 honorable mentions.

The event was organized by the departments for Research and Innovation Promotion, Lifelong Learning Development, and the Industrial Training Center, and took place at the Palmkaew Room, Building 63, 1st floor.
