Dean of CIT, KMUTNB, Opens Workshop on Proactive Advisor Development for Academic Year 2024
On June 18, 2024, Assoc.Prof. Dr. Samit Songpiriyakij, Dean of the College of Industrial Technology (CIT) at King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB), presided over the opening of a workshop titled “Proactive Advisor Development for Academic Year 2024.” The workshop was designed to help faculty understand key advisory principles and enhance the advisory system at CIT.
Special presentations were given by notable faculty and staff, including:
- Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sompop Thongplaw, Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs, on “Introduction to Academic Services”
- Dr. Niphan Prawatcharoenwit, Assistant Dean for Student Affairs, on “Disciplinary Committee and Scholarships”
- Ms. Sukanda Singchan, Head of Student Registration and Statistics, on “Introduction to Student Registration and Information Systems”
- Mr. Putthiphan Wattana, Academic Officer, and Ms. Anothai Ketbuntherng, Academic Officer, on “Assessment and Evaluation of Undergraduate Students”
- Ms. Kanyarath Sornkhong, Academic Officer, on “Disciplinary Probation and Academic Status Management”
- Ms. Wipaporn Dithipan, Administrative Officer, on “Student Records Management”
The workshop, held in Palm Petch Meeting Room, Building 63, 3rd Floor, aimed to equip CIT faculty with essential knowledge and resources, setting a strong foundation for proactive advising and academic support for the upcoming academic year.
