InET (P) Student Field Trip to Intertek Testing Services (Thailand) Co., Ltd.
On March 4, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Dr. Thitikul Phakakhiri from the Department of Industrial Engineering Technology at the College of Industrial Technology led 28 third-year students from the Product Design and Manufacturing Technology (InET) program on a field trip to Intertek Testing Services (Thailand) Co., Ltd. The visit aimed to enhance the practical understanding of the course “Material and Product Testing” (030713132), allowing students to observe international-standard testing procedures in action. The students gained valuable insights into systematic methods for furniture testing, toy testing, packaging testing, and heavy metal analysis. The Intertek team warmly welcomed the group and provided an in-depth overview of their processes, contributing to a meaningful learning experience.
