The Department of Electronic Engineering Technology

The industrial development of the country over the past 10 years has been at a low level, which has not met the goals, and it is challenging to elevate the country to a high-income status by the year 2036 as outlined in the 20-Year National Strategy. Therefore, there is a need for national reform following the ‘Thailand 4.0’ model to enhance efficiency in industries that create value through innovation (Innovation-driven economy).
The ‘Thailand 4.0’ model involves the application of advanced electronics and high-level digital technology in collaboration with various industries to reduce costs, increase value, and enhance production. A highly skilled workforce is crucial, along with knowledge and expertise in electronics and advanced digital technology. Hence, this is the foundation for the Master’s program in Applied Electronics Engineering Technology, which aims to produce graduates capable of applying electronics and digital science, especially in the fields of instrumentation and control, telecommunications, and computers.
This program focuses on developing high-quality and standardized detection equipment, improving automated control systems for industrial efficiency and effectiveness, modernizing data communication network systems, and advancing software design for efficient data processing and management.

The Department of Information and Production Technology Management (IPTM) is part of the College of Industrial Technology and offers a Bachelor of Science degree in Information and Production Technology Management. The program is a cooperative education program that combines theories and practices over a 10-month period of on-the-job training in the private or public sectors to improve students’ knowledge and ability to manage production technology and information that can be applied in production technology management in enterprises and industrial plants. Information Communication and Information Technology Management are part of the program. The cooperative education program combines classroom learning with real-world work experience. This results in graduates who have practical ideas, are able to work, and can integrate knowledge of production management and information technology into their work. This is consistent with the country’s policy of integrating the manufacturing world with the Internet of Things. Students are also taught research skills in special project subjects before going out to practice, students are given skills in thinking, analyzing, and creating research that can be used for real-world benefits.
